TDK Super Dynamic C-60 1968-1971
"The Tape That Turned the Cassette Into a High-Fidelity Medium"
TDK Super-Dynamic tape cassettes were the first to make it possible
to achieve high-fidelity cassette recordings comparable in sound-reproduction
quality to open-reel tape. This is accomplished through use of gamma
ferric (SD) oxide, TDK's exclusive high-resolution, high-efficiency
magnetic coating material.
For quality sound reproduction on tape players with normal or low-noise bias,
Super-Dynamic cassettes offer the following features:
- Frequency response from 30 to 20,000 Hz
- High saturation levels (MOL) for outstanding "real-life" sound
- Very broad dynamic range
- Very high signal-to-noise ratio
- Lowest noise
- Minimum distortion
- No shedding or head wear
- High-reliability, jam-proof construction.
SD cassette housings are made of high-impact, heat-resistant
styrene plastic of the finest quality, assembled with screws.
They are packed in factory-sealed, hinged, clear plastic boxes with
dust-proof cellophane wrappers.
